Kinabalu Summit – 3Days/2Nights

Day 01 – Pick up from hotel at 0800hr and transfer to Kinabalu National Park. Arrive Kinabalu Park 2 hours later, home to numerous species of flora & fauna. It is located 1600m above sea level with soothing temperature. Take a guided nature tour before adjourn for lunch.

At 1400 hr view a video presentation of Kinabalu Park and ends the day with a guided mountain garden walk. Dinner and overnight at Mountain Lodge.

Day 02 – Breakfast. Transfer to Kinabalu Park and register with the park for mountain climbing. Start your climb from Power Station to Laban Rata with packed lunch. Keep a lookout for pitcher plant and wild orchids. You will arrive Laban Rata in the late afternoon. Check into the Guest House. View sunset from the verandah and adjourn for dinner. Overnight at Guest House.

Day 03 – Wake up call at 0200 hr. After a cup of hot coffee / tea, start ascending to the summit with the help of torch light. Arrive at the summit to watch sun rise. Return to Laban Rata for breakfast and trek down to Power Station. Lunch at Kinabalu Park and transfer back to Kota Kinabalu. TOUR ENDS.

We recommend paxs to bring along good trekking shoes, thongs, raincoat, sweater, torch light, insect repellent, water proof gloves, water bottles and items of personal nature.

Kinabalu Park/Poring  – 3Days/2Nights

Day 01 – Pick up from hotel at 0800hr and transfer to Kinabalu National Park.  Arrive Kinabalu Park 2 hours later, home to numerous species of flora & fauna. Take a guided nature tour before adjourn for lunch.  At 1400 hr view a video presentation of Kinabalu Park and ends the day with a guided mountain garden walk. Dinner and overnight at Mountain Lodge.

Day 02 – Breakfast. Transfer to Poring Hot Spring, about an hour journey.  Explore this natural hot spring and trek along nature trails.  Walk on a hanging canopy plank to observe birds and animal life.  Enjoy a dip and soak in the natural hot sulphur water to relieve off the aching muscles.  Return to Mountain Lodge.  Enjoy the evening with a leisure stroll around the vicinity of the Lodge. Dinner & overnight.

Day 03 – Breakfast. Return to Kota Kinabalu and arrive at about noon. TOUR ENDS.

Sandakan/Kinabatangan/Selingan Island – 3Days/2Nights

Day 01 – Pick up from hotel in Sandakan at 0830 hr. Proceed on a two hour drive to Gomantong Caves. Explore the biggest bird’s nest cave in Sabah. Depart to Kinabatangan and take a boat ride to Bilit Lodge. Lunch. Take a boat ride along Kinabatangan River to view proboscis monkeys, birds & other wildlife. Dinner & overnight at Bilit Lodge.

Day 02 – Breakfast. Depart Bilit for Sandakan and take a speed boat ride to Selingan Island. Lunch and check into Park’s chalet. Afternoon is free for swimming or snorkeling. After dinner witness turtle laying eggs. Overnight at Chalet.

Day 03  – Depart to Sandakan. After breakfast, visit Sepilok Orang Utan Centre to witness feeding of orang utans. Return to Sandakan for lunch and city tour of Sandakan. Transfer back to hotel in Sandakan.   Tour Ends.

Sandakan/Kinabatangan/Selingan Island – 4Days/3Nights

Day 01 – Transfer to Kota Kinabalu airport for flight to Sandakan.  Meet upon arrival and transfer to Sabah Hotel.

Day 02 – Breakfast. Proceed on a two hour drive to Gomantong Caves. Explore the biggest bird’s nest cave in Sabah. Depart to Kinabatangan and take a boat ride to the Bilit Lodge. Lunch. Take a boat ride along Kinabatangan River to view proboscis monkeys, birds & other wildlife. Dinner & overnight at Bilit Lodge.

Sepilok/Lankayan Package – 4Days/3Nights

Day 01 – Meet on arrival at Sandakan Airport. Transfer to Sepilok Nature Resort.  Start the afternoon with a visit to the Orang Utan Sepilok Rehabilitation Center. Witness orang utans being feed, walk on a jungle trail and learn the process of training these animals to be self-reliance. Lunch.  Afternoon, tour of Sandakan with visit to the central market, water village and Chinese temple for a bird’s eye view of Sandakan. After dinner, go on a guided jungle walk of Sepilok Forest to spot animals and listen to the “jungle music”. Overnight at Sepilok Nature Resort.

Day 02 – Breakfast. Transfer to jetty for 1000 hr boat to Lankayan Island.  Check into your chalets. Lunch. Diving in the afternoon. Dinner. Overnight at Lankayan Dive Resort.

Day 03 – Breakfast. Fullday for diving. Lunch & Dinner. Overnight at Lankayan Island.

Day 04 – Breakfast.  Depart Lankayan by 0700 hour boat. Meet on arrival at the jetty and transfer to Sandakan Airport.  Tour Ends.

WRITE-UP ON LANKAYAN ISLAND

A jewel-like tiny island in the Sulu Sea.  It is situated about an hour & a half boat transfer’s north of Sandakan.  Lankayan is soon to be declared party of an immense Marine Conservation Area. Unpopulated and covered by thick tropical rainforest on its topside, this peaceful, untouched little bit of paradise is ringed by an endless pure white sandy beach, offering simply elegant and exquisite accommodation in a handful of wooden, roomy and perfectly appointed seafront double occupancy chalets.

WRITE-UP ON SEPILOK NATURE RESORT

Hidden amongst a veritable treasure trove of the tropical plants and grasses, hugh trees and spectacular orchids in bloom, the quaint bungalows of Sepilok Nature Resort are walking distance of the world’s famous forest, Kabili-Sepilok Forest Reserve, precious home of the last wild orang utans of Northen Borneo.

The resort offers all the comforts and amenities needed after a long wet day trekking in the forest. All the timber built chalets are sitting by a beautiful lake and have attached bathrooms with hot and cold water, shower and bathing tub, ceiling fan and air-conditioning, Meals are served in the central building under covered terraces.
